Calamities

Winds whistling with tiny shards of ice, the day is dark and the sun can barely be seen. It's The Storm...

Roughly 25 years ago...

Council1 -"If we don't do this, there will be no more hope left for mankind. I don't want to be written in history as one of those who have foreseen the future and didn't do a goddamn thing! It's time to set it out there. It's humanity's only hope, and it may be the last. I say we should do it!"

Council agrees.

Council2 -"We have seen the risks of having that up. And most importantly, if we do this, there's no going back. It's irreversible.

Council3 -"If we don't do this, we are going the way of doom!"

Council2 -"We are already doomed! If that got up, we might just get it worse than it is!"

Council4 -"It's gonna happen whether you're in it or not.

Council2 -"This is pointless! All this Council has ever did from day one is to clear our conscience and take responsibility of this world where it was meant to be shared and run by all the people within it!"

President -"Donny!" (Sighs) Calmly.. "You are hereby removed from this council, effective immediately. You are no longer needed here."

Council2 -"Well that's just rich! Who appointed us here anyway. We are just a bunch of arrogant rich people who wants to take charge of everything with no apparent reason.." Walks out of the council…

Operation Rainmaker

Announcement: “The prolonged and severe droughts in the country’s agricultural heartlands are threatening our ability to feed our people and undermining our economy. We must take every step possible to provide greater amounts of fresh water to the Midwest and Southwest through manipulating large-scale circulation patterns such as the jet stream. Put simply, rainmaking or more specifically snowmaking is a must.”

It's Day One. The whole nation watched what they thought the end of calamities they are presently facing. But what they don't realize, they just witnessed the beginning of the worst.

They launched the capsule up high to the sky. When it reached the stratosphere the capsule exploded and released element particles into the sky. Just a matter of 8 weeks the world cooled down, but that's not the end.

3 years later...

NEWS FLASH

"Geoengineering becomes Geopolitical issue"

"Operation Rainmaker - Is it a bust?"

"Risks higher than benefit?"

8 years later...

"Operation Rainmaker cannot be shut down"

News reporter -"The Storm gets larger and larger, at first it sucked the typhoons from Asia that got it dramatically to a larger scale. Now the authorities confirms that it can no longer be stopped or weakened."

No smaller than the third part of the world when The Storm stopped enlarging. There was no more storm to vacuum, this large dark spot of the Earth roams the world bringing destruction and darkness in its path.
